Review: Shino Express Sushi was our favourite sushi restaurant. The quality was very nearly as good as Sakura-Bana and the dinner prices are only matched by the prices at Shino's Porter Square "Blue Fin" and Brookline "Sushi Express" locations. "T" there or combine the trip with a Newbury Street shopping expedition, as parking was problematic.
That was then. Now I am reading some pretty scary things. Apparently Shino has sold the place, the prices have climbed dramatically and most scary of all they have stopped using sushi rice and switched to brown rice. There is a collection of reviews at www.yelp.com and based on those, I won't be going back.
